Baru Contemporary Confectionery

Contemporary confectioners Barú will be officially launching their new innovative and indulgent marshmallow bars and cute Christmas confectionery gifts at the Speciality Chocolate Fair which is located within the Speciality & Fine Food Fair (stand 574). 


The innovative individually wrapped marshmallow bars are coated in luxurious milk or dark Belgian chocolate and generously topped with a choice of four flavours: Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel, Milk Chocolate Chai Latte, Milk Chocolate Crunchy Cashew and Dark Chocolate Peppermint that includes a layer of soft, peppermint fudge. These marshmallow ‘clouds’ are made to a carefully developed recipe that includes real honey and ground vanilla pods to create a soft, light, melt-in-the-mouth experience! Presented in counter display box (30g x 18 bars per display). RSP £1.75.

Barú will also showcase new Christmas gifts on the stand including a small Christmas ball with Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Hippo 15g (RSP £3.49), Small Handbag with Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Hippo 75g (RSP £5.79), Stylish Handbag filled with Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Hippos 180g (RSP £9.99) and a Stylish Handbag filled with mixed flavoured Chocolate Hippos 180g (RSP £9.99).

Following a successful launch at last year’s show, Baru will also be showing their light, fluffy, individually wrapped marshmallows. The individually wrapped signature Marshmallows are all generously coated in luxurious milk or dark Belgian chocolate. Flavoured with Salted Caramel, Red Berries, Maple Cashew and Ginger & Lime and available in 2 pack sizes: a small 54g or 60g box or larger 120g box.  

Barú’s confectionery is all-natural, and contains no flavourings, aromas, essences or any other funny business! It is simply a high quality range that uses premium Belgian chocolate and the best quality ingredients such as artisan-cooked caramel, pecan nut praline and freeze-dried fruit pieces.

The Barú is available to the speciality food trade through a network of distributors. Barú will showcase the entire range, which also includes cute Chocolate Hippos and Swirly Chocolate Drinks on stand 574 within theSpeciality Chocolatearea at Speciality London 2014.
