Christmas in July

This year we organised a joint event with our client Opies at a Christmas in July press event. We travelled to a central London location for a day to recreate a foodie extravaganza. There were tastings aplenty using many of Opies’ best-selling Christmas lines: a cheeseboard with Pickled Walnuts, super-rich Ginger Christmas Cake and cheesecakes with lashing of fruits in alcohol. 

Splat PR also spent a number of days in central London visiting many of the key titles at the main publishing houses. We made appointments with food editors, to present each of our food clients and their Christmas collections. This was a great way to build relationships and brand awareness. 

Our approach has really paid off with media coverage secured in numerous titles: Daily Telegraph, Country Homes & Interiors, Take a Break, delicious, Woman & Home, Feel Good Food, The Simple Things, The Christmas Magazine, Essentials … and many others.
