New brand. New website.
It was about time that Splat Marketing & PR had an update, so earlier this year we set about devising a design brief for a new logo and web design. Our logo hadn’t changed during our first eight years in business and at that time we wanted something quirky and memorable. Back then, Splat Marketing & PR was a new business and set about to create memorable marketing campaigns and effective PR for clients, so, the business needed to have a memorable image too.
But things have changed. The business has grown and become established and now provides, in the main, outsourced niche marketing and public relations for speciality food producers, tourism organisations and hospitality clients. We still wanted to retain that individuality and quirkiness that was set out at launch, but now we needed to move to the next stage.
Our new look had to capture all elements of the business and to reflect all of the different businesses that we work with – quite an ask! So, the brief was drawn up and I had no hesitation in whom I was going to talk to in order to create a fabulous new look for Splat Marketing & PR! I approached Reech Media (a fantastic print and design agency) whom I’d worked with on various client projects. I was always impressed by their creativity, professionalism, attention to detail, and, most importantly, delivering projects either on time or ahead of schedule. It was a ‘no brainer’ to ask them to work on my brand too.
Stage one was the logo, which was selected from a wide selection offered. This then enabled us to transpose this look and feel through to this new website. I’m absolutely delighted with the result. Not only does it look great but I can update news, my blog (or Splog as I like to call it) and link in with client news too.
All in all, it was a great job. Hope you agree!
