Smoking New Products at Speciality London

The stand won’t be smoking but there’ll be a distinct smoky aroma to Stag Bakeries stand at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, London where they will be officially launching new Smoked Oatcakes that are made using ingredients smoked at the last commercial smokehouse in the Hebrides.

Stag will be officially launching both Smoked Butter Oatcakes and Smoked Walnut Oatcakes, made with oats and butter that are carefully smoked over oak and beech to create a distinct, smoky fragrance and warm, earthy taste. The range was conceived as Stag wanted to pursue their heritage range which has been built on provenance to utilise ingredients and recipes to showcase and celebrate their Scottish Hebridean roots. 

The Smoked Butter Oatcake has a rich taste and distinct, smoky flavour whilst the Walnut Oatcake which has a warm, nutty flavour. Both cocktail sized oatcakes are delicious eaten on their own as a snack or to provide the base for canapés or as part of a cheeseboard. Pack into a newly designed distinctive, eye-catching packaging, each 125g pack has an RRP of £2.45.

Complementing the range is a new gift tin that celebrates Stag’s award-winning savoury biscuits. The new Great Taste Selection Tin includes three award-winning savoury biscuits that have each been awarded a prestigious Great Taste Award.
