We are
Splat Marketing & PR: an independent…
…marketing and PR consultancy based in Staffordshire, founded by Lesley Parr in 2005.
“As a food lover who likes nice food and nice hotels, you could argue that’s the main reason why I’m drawn to working with speciality food producers and hospitality clients. If I’m completely honest, there is some truth in that but it’s not the main reason. Prior to establishing Splat Marketing & PR I enjoyed a successful career in marketing management at tourism organisations, award-winning hotels and my last role was with a leading speciality food producer.
It was great being employed by the different businesses. I made lots of contacts within the various industries and, most importantly, it allowed me to gain an unenviable breadth of knowledge that I now share with other businesses. Clients very much benefit from this knowledge and my experience. I can share proven techniques that have worked (and, luckily for them, I’m able to advise of the projects that weren’t so successful!).
Splat Marketing & PR offers clients a full service: from public relations and trade marketing, event management, digital marketing, market research and media buying. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need help whether it’s for a specific project, to devise a marketing strategy, a PR campaign, launch a new brand, would like a fresh pair of eyes to review your marketing communications, or, quite simply, you just need an extra pair of hands! If you need to outsource your marketing, this can be done on site or remotely. I also have some fantastic contacts, to call on for their expertise. This could be someone with a wealth of knowledge in export markets, people who are fantastic at product development and creating recipes or a creative agency that produces fantastic print, packaging and web design.
For more information about my career and the awards I’ve obtained for clients then please take a look at my Linked In profile. It’s easy to just be focused on work, so I’d like to end with a bit more information about ‘me’. I have a slight obsession with the Great British Bake Off (Mel & Sue have the best job) and I love to travel. My husband would, however, argue that my greatest passion (and obsession) would have to be my shoe collection … but, in my opinion, a girl can never have too many shoes!”
